Welcome to the website of the best BBQ this side of Texas.
We moved to Flagstaff from Austin Texas in 2006. Our intentions were to move to a place we wanted to retire, now instead of later. I transferred here with a government position and soon realized I wouldn't be retiring any time soon from my job.
I worked with some friends, who were also from Texas and asked them where I could find some great BBQ. Their reply was "your backyard". This made no sense to me as being from Texas we had BBQ everywhere.
I soon began to fire up my ol' smoker to satisfy my need for home smoked BBQ. As my friends got word of my cooking skills they too wanted to try my smoked delights.
Soon I was cooking for the whole office and even some customers of mine and as the word got out I was doing more cooking than I was working at my job.
We bought a commercial mobile kitchen and was lucky enough to meet the owners of The Museum Club, and it was explained to us that they needed a full menu on a full time basis. After some thought and some changes to a menu that we had developed we were now serving our tasty foods to the patrons of The Museum Club.
We began our alliance on Memorial Day of 2007. We have had the opportunity to cater some of the biggest names in the music industry since then. Names such as David Allan Coe,
Asleep at the Wheel,
Cross Canadian Ragweed,The Bellamy Brothers,Redneck the Band,
Blackhawk,
Amy Scruggs,Afroman.,Trent Tomlinson, Nick Nicholson
Through our alliance with The Museum Club, we have also been featured with them twice on the weekly TV show of Arizona Highways.This brought many visitors from places as far away as Tucson, The Verde Valley, Prescott, Phoenix and other surrounding communities.We were also fortunate to have served our tasty foods to the owners of the Arizona Road Show
We have truly been blessed in this business by simply doing what we know and love to do.
